Water Atlas Training Opportunity for Tampa Bay Area Private School & Homeschool Teachers

Pinellas County’s Watershed Management Division is holding a training session & workshop in the use of the Water Atlas website and the associated curricula. The Water Atlas is a website that houses water quality data, documents, and a great deal of educational material. A new component “near real-time data” is online and we’ll be instructing on its’ use also. A set of curricula has been written for use with the Water Atlas, and a new set of curricula is being introduced for the new component. The curricula are available directly from the website, just go to education and click on ‘Curriculum for Teachers’. There you will find PDF and Microsoft Wordtm versions of the Teacher’s Guides and Student Handouts.

The training is provided free of charge and lunch will be provided.

We are introducing the new Near Real-Time Data Component of the Atlas and it’s curricula.
