This month, we'll be talking about homeschooling during the holidays. You don't have to choose between holiday activities like cooking, readying for friends and family and shopping, or homeschooling, worrying that your kids will loose precious learning time over the holidays.
The holidays are precious learning time -- from learning about cultural and religious traditions, to considering socioeconomic issues, to writing cards and letters, to important discussion and sharing time with and about family and friends.
So come de-stress with homeschooling friends, share ideas and insights, and take the opportunity the holidays offer to consider a richness of learning far beyond, and more enduring than anything you'll ever find in books or curricula.
Jimmy Keel Public Library is at 2902 West Bearss Avenue in Tampa.
All are welcome - See you Monday!
